A long overdue update, Mammoth Cave Trip

Hello everyone, I’ve been busy.
The main news is an enormous Mural I’ve completed this Summer Season at a private residence in Lexington Kentucky, this will most certainly warrant a blog post all it’s own.
I recently had the fortune of visiting Mammoth cave National Park. I highly recommend the Lantern Tour when you attend, and you must see this natural wonder in your lifetime, it’s not to be missed.
I shot this photo of a Cairn built many decades ago by visitors of the Historic Entrance to the Cave at Mammoth Cave National Park. The Lantern tour I went on takes you to the Sanitarium huts built for Tuberculosis patients in the 1840’s and 50’s, a few hundred feet from the location this photo was taken. These huts which were too dim to photograph well, are mentioned by H. P. Lovecraft in his early short horror story “The Beast in the Cave” in 1918. It’s quite a chill to actually see the location mentioned by Lovecraft in such a story of terror.
More updates coming on the Mural projects very soon.
