“Bluegrass Wild” will also include two free-of-charge workshops, one at each location (Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning and Living Arts and Science Center). These workshops will be conducted by the artist and will include distribution of the informational brochures and a short presentation on the topic of wildlife conservation and natural history of the region. The workshops will also feature a demo of the digital painting techniques used by the artist to create the murals and members of the community will be invited to participate in experimenting with digital painting.  The purpose of the events is to educate the public about digital mural creation, and create scenic imagery of a landscape of Kentucky that can no longer be seen in person or captured in a photograph by utilizing the history of natural beauty that inspires us.
